At what ratio is the cost to company calculated ? I'm not sure if it was 60% basic +allowances then 40% PF, tds . The workings is where I got stuck.

Cost to company is total expenditure of Company on Salaries. It includes Basic + Allowances + TDS, SST+ Contributions everything that company has to pay to employees and their benefits.
